The MUGEN Technologies Corporation has established itself as the world leader in developing cutting-edge technology products, being the best in areas such as space research, weapons design, genetic engineering and robotics.

His new goal is to master an ancient art considered a myth today: magic.

According to his theory, MUGEN Tech's researchers believe that magic is a mental skill, and that people who practiced it, had a different brain than normal people.

After an extensive search, the team behind the project gets the location of an ancient temple where the remains of Aurus, who was the most powerful witch of his time being.

They create a clone of Aurus to do tests, but the experiment goes wrong, and the sorceress ends quickly with the researchers, and hides in the MUGEN Tech building, using their defensive resources to turn it into an impregnable fortress.

Although weakened by his long sleep, Aurus revives fallen War Lord Eyedol. By his magic she manages to control the ferocious being, to use as his bodyguard.

Safe in their makeshift fort, and with the protection provided by Eyedol, Aurus just have to wait for her power is fully restored.
